So for the latest incarnation of their Exotic Wood AEW series Ibanez have pushed the boat out with a stunning Spalted Maple/Walnut multi-wood mosaic top, back and sides. With a thinner, amplification-friendly body of these beautiful guitars make them the perfect choice for gigging singer-songwriters. A "soft" Florentine cutaway provides easy accessibility all the way to the 17th fret.
Electronics on the AEWB50 include a Fishman Sonicore pickup and an AEQ-SP2 preamp for complete tone control, 1/4" and XLR outputs, plus an onboard tuner for quick, discreet tuning. Other features include IABS4XC carbon coated strings, chrome die-cast tuners with black knobs, a rosewood fret board and bridge, and Ibanez Advantage Bridge Pins for improved tuning stability. This beautiful instrument is finished off with maple body binding and rosette and a high gloss natural finish.
