Wow- the Iron Label goes back to natural wood, gets a thru-neck and Ebony fingerboard! Awesome axe- keeping the 'stripped down but dressed up' theme these guitars excel at metal but really can be used for a much broader spectrum of music than that. Fantastic specification- the 7-piece Nitro Wizard Maple/Walnut through neck feels great, particularly given the genuine Ebony fingerboard with 16" radius and Jumbo frets. The body wings are made of Ash and the Natural Flat finish shows off the beautiful grain.

No economy has been made on the hardware either- the active EMG ceramic humbuckers are direct mounted to the body- the EMG® 60 neck pickup packs plenty of output with a balance of tones that is classic-thick; boosted mids, big lows, and fat highs. And the EMG® 81 bridge pickup gives detailed intensity, incredible amounts of high end cut, and fluid sustain. These are tied to a conventional 3-way switch and also a 'Kill Switch'. The machineheads are Gotoh® Magnum Lock which offer incredible tuning stability while the bridge is a Gibraltar Standard II bridge.
