Epiphone EB-0 SG Bass (Cherry) Overview

The Epiphone EB-0 SG Style bass guitar has a short-scale and narrow neck making it very easy to play. Authorized by Gibson, Epiphone has brought back a classic bass guitar of the early '60s. The Epiphone EB-0 bass has a mahogany body and a bolt-on hard mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard.

A single Sidewinder humbucker pickup translates the solid mahogany body's natural character into rich tone. The neck profile is fast and very comfortable while the chrome hardware, smaller 30.5 inch scale and dot inlays make this bass a comfort to play and watch. The Epiphone EB-0 bass provides the tone and the look that inspires musicians.

Only 4 stars because this bass is made in Indonesia and not in the USA.which I was assumingand not aware of at the time of purchase.. With the Epiphone name and heritage I was looking forward to this so it took the edge of the joy off it a bit at the time but I am over that now. However the build quality and finish is excellent, faultless.. Still highly recommended for anyone looking for a short scale bass at a reasonable price £169. I guess the price reflects far eastern labor prices as American labor would be a more expensive price.. Good value for money..5 stars. The Epiphone EB-III case fits this bass perfectly with a bit of extra space at the top as the EBO is 4 inches shorter than the EB-III makes carrying horizontally balanced with no tilting. .
