Fishman Powerbridge AST Overview
Acoustic pickup bridge assembly for TelecasterThe AST Powerbridge pickup replaces the bridge on modern-style American Standard Telecaster style Fender guitars (early 1980's on) with the lead pickup moved 1/8" closer to the bridge saddles. Basic system operation requires that you split the passive Powerbridge and magnetic pickup signals to separate amplifiers.
If you wish to blend the Powerbridge pickup and magnetic pickup signals together into one amp, check out one of Fishman's dedicated preamps. All Powerbridge pickups are supplied with complete installation kits. Installation by a qualified repairperson is strongly recommended.
