Ibanez AELFF10-NT Fanned Fret (Natural) Overview
At last- fanned frets come to a six string guitar at a reasonable price! Bringing all the advantages of fanned frets to Ibanez's established AEL platform the scale length of the AELFF10 ranges from 26.77" for the low 'E' to 25" for the top 'E'. Players of fanned fret guitars often report that playing comfort is improved, intonation is better, the bass strings sound deeper and the high strings sweeter.Aside from the fretting the AEL is a proven performer on stage or in the studio. The Rosewood/Spruce tonewood combination is tried and tested whilst the Fishman® Sonicore pickup is powered by the Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp which features an onboard tuner. For noise-critical applications a balanced XLR output is provided along with the traditional 1/4" jack.
