The Ibanez AEW23MV-NT brings together the classic top wood, spruce, with the more exotic back & side's wood type of movingui. Along with the classic acoustic guitar colouring, the spruce brings with it a classic, detailed acoustic tone and dynamic response. The movingui is striking, with it's golden yellow colour with an interlocking grain and fine texture. Tonally, movingui sits between mahogany and koa, providing more a more balanced output than mahogany and less overtones than koa.

Just likes its brothers, the AEW22CD-NT and AEW21VK-NT, the Ibanez AEW23MV-NT has a severe cutaway, giving access to the upper register, which gives it a unique style of its own. Both the headstock and the body of the guitar benefit from a multi-wood binding. Another striking aesthetic of the Ibanez AEW23MV-NT is the large, movingui/abalone rosette at the soundhole.
