The Ibanez SA960QM features a stunning Quilted Maple top on a Mahogany body. The Premium Series deliver high-end features at a mid-level price. The SA Premium neck is constructed from Maple and Walnut fitted with a Rosewood fingerboard and feels superb. The 12" radius fingerboard has offset pearl dot inlays. Another point to note is the immaculately finished fret work. It features the Ibanez Premium Fret Edge Treatment where the edges have been hand rolled, just like the J-Customs. The result is a highly playable fretboard that is smooth to the touch.

The SA960 QM has a SyncroniZR tremolo bridge installed along with ZPS-FX for stability. Working on a ball bearing design, the SyncroniZR trem feels super smooth and works brilliantly. It takes a well known design and it improves on it considerably. A fantastic range of tones can easily be squeezed from the DiMarzio IBZ S pickups.
