Presonus Eris E8 (Pair) Overview

Presonus Eris E8 Pair.
When you're ready to get serious about recording, it's time to step up to PreSonus Eris-series studio monitors. Cheap computer speakers and home-stereo speakers won't reveal the truth about your mix. They aren't designed for that.
In contrast, Eris speakers are real studio monitors, delivering a very accurate response with a tight bass and very clear upper end. That's what you need in a home studio. Thanks to well-designed Kevlar® low frequency transducers, low-mass silk-dome tweeters, responsive Class AB amplification, and professional acoustic-adjustment controls, Eris delivers the goods.
Yet Eris-series speakers are ultra-affordable, making them a terrific value. And with two models, you can easily find the Eris monitor that best suits your studio needs.

Having owned these for a few days already, these are heaven in boxes. the clarity I get whilst monitoring is perfect and setting these monitors up is a joy. When you spend time calibrating the monitors not only position relative but acoustic settings, it's a joy. yes, these are rather large monitors but if you need low bass frequency response, these are what you should go for. an important consideration when I purchased the monitors was the front facing bass port. When you use monitors, most are rear firing ports which reflect bass harmonics to the walls which does not help in mixing. you need to have monitors in your studio or editing environment where the bass frequencies are firing towards you for better monitoring.
