Skips the sixth (low E) or first strings and covers the other five, emulating altered tunings.Applied from the bass side it skips the bass string and centres solidly on the neck while capo'ing the other strings. Of course it's possible toaccomplish the same thing on many necks a regular shubb, but they need to be applied from the treble side, off-centre to avoid the bass string, and can get in the way if you're trying to play bass runs behind the capo.
