John is a self-described "Fender fanatic" with a jaw-dropping collection of his favorite instrument, the Telecaster® ("the greatest guitars ever built, by far, hands down," he said). This latest edition from Squier® is a double bound beauty based on his ever evolving, frequently modded work horse of a Telecaster pieced together by the folks at the one and only Fender® Custom Shop.

Features include his distinctive black and chrome look - an alder body finished in gloss black, 22 fret maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard and black painted head cap, a striking polished stainless steel pickguard and chrome hardware.

Operate the custom designed humbucking pickups via a unique dual volume set up with the bridge pickup control in the front position and the neck pickup control in the back position GÇô John prefers this set up as he spends a majority of time giving the bridge pickup a workout. In addition, via rapid movement of the three-way toggle switch between positions, that signature "kill" effect can be obtained by turning off the neck pickup volume and leaving the bridge control full up!
