Have been looking for a nearside personal monitor for a while, had flirted with this item for some time. Decided to give it a go. Ordered from GAK, next day delivery, tracking of package all good. Grand opening, neat little unit, only problem the mic stand "clip" mechanism was too small for the stands I was using. Contacted manufacturer to ask about trimming the hard rubber on the clip, advised this would void my warranty (note it is a 3 year warranty - so that was a nonstarter). Have had to go back to a fairly standard stand (unhappy with this) but that is one minor matter for most users. The unit fits the normal sized stand and it works quite well in a practice/rehearsal situation, not tried it in a live setting yet. Combination jacks for the 2 inputs. Also 2 XLR jacks for output and through channel. Can daisy chain monitors for other band members who have one via "Through" channel. You can plug your mic in to the unit along with your guitar and use it as a PA for small gigs. You can route the combined output from the mic and guitar to a sound desk for FOH with your mix on it. While you use it as a personal monitor. Alternatively you can have your mic or guitar (Input 1 has a Hi Z switch for these) and send this channel only to the FOH with the FOH monitored feed to input channel 2. Allowing you to use it as a personal monitor for your guitar or vocal. Has a preset EQ for both inputs but you can turn this off and set own eq via low/mid/high buttons and "edit" knob. Can set type of reverb, and turn it on, adjust it or turn it off in each channel. Also a 3.5mm auxiliary input for mp3 or other source, a phantom switch for condenser mics, and a usb port for firmware updates via the software from the manufacturer's website. It can fit on the floor, on a small table or separate stand if necessary, weighs a merge 3 kg. There is even a video tutorial available from the manufacturer's website, where you can get a download of the full user manual. My main use is for personal monitoring in a small and portable format. What will you do with yours?
