The Washburn PX-SolarV16 Ola Englund Signature V is a departure from the super-s shape that the Solar models have adopted. This V-shaped guitar is a metal monster, with insane fret access, massive sustain and killer looks. Ola Englund was keen for the PX-SolarV16 to have a beveled body so that it is a far more comfortable instrument than most Vs. The satin finish further contributes to its premium feel. The mahogany body resonates beautifully and adds a satisfying weight to the PX-SolarV16, while the maple neck is easy to shred on, the jumbo frets and ebony fingerboard are like butter.

As with all Washburn Solars, the Solar V has Ola's signature Seymour Duncan Solar pickups, which are only available in these guitar. These humbuckers deliver a tight and focused sound that rings clear with every note. Their versatility is furthered by the push/pull tone knob that switches between Series and Parallel wiring. Other features include Grover 18:1 tuners, a Tune-O-Matic and string thru bridge.
